With physician orders, our therapy team provides evaluations and treatments for residents experiencing difficulties with their activities of daily living due to various medical conditions and disorders. Residents are helped to regain the ability to participate in what matters to them through the therapeutic use of everyday activities (occupations) such as eating, dressing, and cooking. Wheelchair seating/positioning management and transfer training are also common occupational therapy interventions.
