| Giving Opportunities |
|
Any contribution helps us further achieve our mission. Brevillier Village has thrived from the generosity of individuals willing to give of themselves to benefit others. Listed below are various ways of giving to Brevillier Village. |
|
THE TREE OF LIFE |
|
|
The logo of Brevillier Village is the
Sheltering Oak. It is depicted by an unleafed tree
under a sheltering umbrella. Brevillier Village forms the trunk which
offers the promise of growth and
service to others. The Sheltering Oak has been used in conjunction with
the multi-level services of Brevillier Village, uniting them under its
umbrella. It has been used in all printed material, including the
brochures of the Village and its stationery.
A beautiful bronze sculpture of the Sheltering Oak can be found in the lobby of Barnabas Court North. It has been used for memorials and special gifts to the Village services, facilities, and programs. The "leaves" of the oak tree denote contributions of $1,000 or more and the "stones" at the base of the tree represent gifts or donations of $5,000 or more.

THE RUTH PEDERSON BENEVOLENT CARE FUND |
|
| Ruth Pederson was the last remaining resident of the original Ball Home. In her memory, the Board of Directors has established a Benevolent Care Fund. A significant portion of Brevillier Village's mission is devoted to providing quality Housing & Healthcare services to the elderly. Unfortunately, the cost of providing the quality care we provide does exceed the resources of a significant portion of our population. The Ruth Pederson Benevolent Care Fund ensures quality services for those unable to pay. Since demand exceeds the resources of the fund, your gift will help eliminate the wait list for this subsidy. | |

Planned Gifts for Brevillier Village |
|
| At Brevillier Village, providing the highest quality housing and health care needs to the elderly is our primary concern. In order to continue this level of care for the residents we must plan for the future. While we very much appreciate your current gifts of cash, stocks, and property we are now also offering planned giving opportunities for friends who wish to help us prepare for future needs. | |
| Planned Giving provides an opportunity for you to give Brevillier Village in circumstances that may not otherwise allow such a gift to be made. It is a unique way, for individuals age 50 and older, to prepare for income needs during retirement while securing a future gift to help fund the works of Brevillier Village. Cash, stocks, and real estate can be used to fund a variety of planned gifts that will: secure income to you and your family, partially by-pass capital gain for gifts of secured assets, provide a charitable tax deduction in the year of the gift and enable you to support the mission of Brevillier Village with a future gift. Charitable gift annuities, charitable trusts, and gifts of life insurance are a few planned giving options, available. | |
| Brevillier Village is partnering with Loyal Christian Benefit Association (LCBA) to provide planned giving opportunities for friends interested in supporting our work in a significant, long- term way. For more information, please contact LCBA's Planned Giving Specialist, Phuong K. Schuetz at 888-233-5222 or 814-454-7553, email her at giftplanning@lcba.com or visit the website at www.lcbagift.org. | |
| Loyal Christian Benefit Association headquartered in Erie, Pennsylvania is a not-for-profit fraternal benefit society society serving the Christian community. LCBA's mission is Protecting and Caring for the Church, Family and Future. | |
