Brevillier Village

"When Quality of Life Matters"

Brevillier Village wants to recycle!  A Recycling Team with various members of staff and village residents has started to meet monthly to determine:  "Are we part of the solution, or part of the problem?"

Do you know that 38.2% of our total waste is from paper and cardboard?

If everyone in the Unites States recycled one tenth of their newspapers, the world would save about 25 million trees every year.  At least 80,000 acres of forest disapear from the earth each day; and deforestation is estimated to be responsible for about 20% of global carbon emissions.

At Brevillier Village we will slowly implement the recycling process.  We will begin with newspapers AND magazines.  Effective April 1st all newspapers are to be thrown in the designated containers in each building.  We appreciate EVERYONE helping Brevillier Village be environmentally friendly.

The best friend on earth of man is the tree.
When we use the tree respectfully and economically,
we have one of the greatest resources on earth.
