The Recreation Department has also added a wonderful touch screen computer system and program called "It's Never 2 Late" . This system was made possible by donations from the Cathedral of St. Paul's Charlotte Thomas Trust, the Brevillier Village Auxiliary, and the family of Virginia Shilling. Residents are just one click away from many different programs that will enhance memories and provide fun and laughter. The residents will be able to go to the casino, visit Paris, listen and watch their favorite singer, play games or take a bike ride through the path of their choice. What great therapy! It is a virtual dream to aide residents to good health and quality living all with one touch of the finger. Isn't technology awesome?! Not only does this system offer all of the above, but one of the best parts is the capability for residents to email their families as well as see families as they talk. There is a web cam in the system to enable this to happen. Soon families can be talking anywhere. Resident will be able to talk and see up to six family members with six different locations all at one time. It's FANTASTIC!!! This system is truly a wonderful asset to our department. We are hoping to be able to purchase another one for Barnabas Court in the future. Contact Marti Colliss, Director of Recreation to set up email and webcam capabilities. Marti can be reached at 814-899-8600 or mcolliss@brevillier.org
