Brevillier Village Housing and Health Care for Elders "When Quality of Life Matters" |
| Rehabilitation Philosophy | |
| To improve the quality of life of residents by providing comprehensive therapeutic services directed at maximizing the residents' comfort, independence, and safety in a home-like atmosphere. | |
| Brevillier Village offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services including: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology. Our Rehab Department is committed to helping Brevillier residents at Ball Pavilion, Barnabas Court, and Conrad House achieve their highest functional level so that each person can realize an optimal quality of life. | |
| All rehab staff are employed by Brevillier Village and have over 75 years combined experience. Brevillier Village offers two Rehab Departments, one at Ball Pavilion,, Skilled Nursing, and one at Barnabas Court, Personal Care. The Rehab Staff works closely with nursing, social services, recreation, and food services to provide the best possible care for our residents. As Brevillier staff members, therapists participate in weekly wound care, dining, positioning, and fall team rounds and provide both general and resident specific in-servicing. | |
| Restorative Nursing Program | |
| Following therapy, residents who continue to reside at Ball Pavilion are referred to our Restorative Nursing Program. This formal program serves as a link between Rehab and Nursing aimed at maintaining the gains residents achieve while receiving therapy. | |
| Short Stay Rehabilitation | |
| Residents in the community can also benefit from Brevillier Village's short stay rehab program. Our experienced therapists and team approach helps individuals regain their independence and make a smooth transition back to their home, or to a living arrangement that will best meet their needs. | |

Residents Have Success in Brevillier Rehab Department |
|
Ball Pavilion has provided short term rehabilitation to hundreds of residents and people in the community. The goal of these short stays is to return the person home. If your family member is in the hospital and the doctor is recommending short term rehabilitation, please consider Ball Pavilion. Physicians and hospital staff may encourage their rehabilitation facility and certainly as a consumer, you have a choice. Our Brevillier Village Rehabilitation Department has very good outcomes. In 2010, 80% of residents reached their goal of returning to their previous level of care! |

| A Word From Some of Our Residents | |
| Rita P.: "I would not even consider going anywhere else for therapy. When they wanted me to go somewhere else for my rehab, I said "Absolutely not." They not only treated me with kindness but the therapy they did was outstanding." | |
| Ardys P.: "I can't say enough good things about the therapists. They were all very helpful and encouraging. I wouldn't go anywhere else for therapy." | |
