**New Additions for 2010!**

Two new Beauty Shop services will be added this year.  Soon residents will be able to pamper themselves with a facial or parafinn hand treatments.  Both are being offered for any Brevillier Village resident wishing to make an appointment.

The Recreation Department has added a wonderful touch screen computer system called "It's Never 2 Late".  Residents are just one click away from programs that will enhance memories and provide fun and laughter.  This system offers the capability to email their families and use a webcam.  Please email Marti Colliss, Director of Recreation to set up email/webcam capabilities at mcolliss@brevillier.org

Our residents have active social schedules including ride outings, birthday and holiday celebrations, special event and theme days, daily groups and activities, as well as monthly entertainment groups.  These are just some of the ways we provide our residents with activities on a daily basis.

Brevillier Village's Recreation Department provide activities at Barnabas Court and Ball Pavilion, gathering our residents together for newspaper reading, dime bingo, crafts, baking, trivia, relaxing beauty.  Exercise groups, Wii-ercise, shuffleboard, bowling, and indoor golf are just a few activities that make sure our residents always have something to do!

Conrad House Resident Council along with their Service Coordinator provide weekly activities such as exercise groups, Rosary, Church Services, Happy Hours, Reading, Writing, and Sharing Groups, Coffee Hours, Reminiscence Groups, Wii Group and Bingo.  Some new fun events include a Brain Fitness Clinic and the Interim Suite!

Brain Fitness:  In an effort to keep our minds healthy and active, Conrad House has implemented a monthly brain fitness clinic.  This includes games, word puzzles, brain teasers, and more.  We incorporate video games such as the Nintendo Wii and the Nintendo DS as well.

Interim Suite:  Conrad House has partnered with Interim Home Health to offer our residents free nursing consultations on Tuesday and Friday mornings.  Residents can have their blood pressure checked, ask general health and medication questions or express concerns related to changes in physical or cognitive functioning.  Brevillier's very own therapy team has also collaborated with Interim to provide follow-up physical, occupational, and speech therapies right in the residents' apartments.
